AllenDay & Morestaff's EGG-cellent donation to the community!

Last week, Morestaff and AllenDay Recruitment joined together to deliver one hundred and twenty-three (123) Easter eggs to the Dunstable Foodbank, just in time for Easter weekend.

In march, both Morestaff and AllenDay began a campaign to collect Easter eggs on behalf of the Dunstable Foodbank. Having met with the Foodbank earlier in the year, it was suggested that Easter Eggs would be an excellent donation idea, in order to ensure children would receive a chocolate treat throughout the Easter Holidays.

Over the course of the last six weeks; both companies received generous donations from colleagues, supplier, clients as well as the general public. The huge generosity of everyone involved saw the collection grow week on week, with one supplier in particular donating twenty eggs.

Kathy Doran, Director of Morestaff said, ‘It was lovely to see everyone get involved and rally round for this great cause. Donations big and small were greatly appreciated and it was lovely to have people drop by the office to deliver their contribution. Denise and I are immensely proud that our team managed to exceed their target of one hundred eggs, all for a good cause’.

The collection of eggs was delivered to the Dunstable Foodbank last week by Morestaff’s Business Development Manager, Jackie Butler. Jackie was advised that the collection would be divided up between the different foodbanks in Dunstable, ensuring that all children received an egg this year in addition to the general weekly supplies given to families in need.

Morestaff and AllenDay would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone for their generous donations towards this great cause.
