This is a permanent role and would suit someone who can demonstrate excellent organisational skills, is focused, efficient and self managing.  Main Responsibilities Implement the firm’s credit control policy by preparing aged debt reports, issuing reminders, calling and emailing customers to make sure all accounts are settled in line with the home owner plot deeds  Dealing with customer facing account queries by phone and by email Negotiate payment plans  Initiate legal proceedings where required  Manage the relationship, performance and workflow with the nominated debt collection solicitors  Prepare and issue direct debit mandates  Manage failed direct debit collections and amending direct debit payment plans on operating system as needed  Analyse the effectiveness of the credit control system, implement changes and reduce bad debt  Where developments have energy management systems with direct billing providers (Switch2), to review debtor position and collect information to allow us to chase payment of arrears. Chase direct billing providers to pay across sums they have collected.  Update credit control monitor  Posting and allocating cash to the correct invoices as required.
