Supervise and drive the processing of all customer orders, ensuring these are processed in a timely, effective, accurate and efficient way, and in line with the departmental procedures and requirements.
Ensure that any escalated complaint is processed to ensure that the customer feels positive that the complaint will be dealt with in a competent manner and keeping the customer fully up to date at all times.
Ensure the teams are completing and maintaining, filing the appropriate documentation at all times in a timely and precise manner.
Provide administration support where necessary.

Proven background within a fast-paced customer service environment

Excellent eye for detail
Computer literate with a good working knowledge of IFS and Contact Management systems
Experience in Microsoft packages including Outlook, Word, and Excel

AllenDay are recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller for our client who specialise's in Property Management based in Hockliffe, Bedfordshire. This is a permanent role and would suit someone who can demonstrate excellent organisational skills, is focused, efficient and self managing.
Main Responsibilities
Implement the firm’s credit control policy by preparing aged debt reports, issuing reminders, calling and emailing customers to make sure all accounts are settled in line with the home owner plot deeds
Dealing with customer facing account queries by phone and by email
Negotiate payment plans
Initiate legal proceedings where required
Manage the relationship, performance and workflow with the nominated debt collection solicitors
Prepare and issue direct debit mandates
Manage failed direct debit collections and amending direct debit payment plans on operating system as needed
Analyse the effectiveness of the credit control system, implement changes and reduce bad debt
Where developments have energy management systems with direct billing providers (Switch2), to review debtor position and collect information to allow us to chase payment of arrears. Chase direct billing providers to pay across sums they have collected.
Update credit control monitor
Posting and allocating cash to the correct invoices as required.
The Ideal Candidate:
At least 2 years experience

£23,000 to £25,000 per annum depending on experience
