AllenDay are recruiting for a Cook for a 24 Bedroom Care Home based in a rural village in Bedfordshire. The care home provides purpose built accommodation for older people, who can no longer live at home . The care home offers communal spaces and private areas for peace and quiet.
Due to the location this position is ideal for someone local or a car driver.
The job involves the following :
- Cooking from fresh
- Menu planning
- Ordering
- Stock rotation- completing daily records
- Cooking for 18-24 a day providing Breakfast, Lunch and prepping tea.
Hours & Salary:
- 08:00 - 15:00
- 28 hours per week
- On Special occasions you may be asked for longer hours
- £10.27 per hour
- £12.27 overtime rate
